about tracey

hi
i'm rather nervous about all this blogging stuff, i'm not really very techno savvy so it's going to be a great learning curve. i wanted to call me blog "just-call-me-olga" as i know is going to be very mind bending and i'm going to have to induce some flexible thinking but i thought the olga title gave my age away, and porobably not many people under the age of 40 would remember watching that tiny gymnast acheiving those perfect 10"s. 2nd reason i'm definately not a perfect 10 acheiver in the techno stakes.
I'm interested in any activity that involves joining two or more pieces of fabric together to create something, or knitting or crotcheting. i teach (part-time) garment construction, certificate level (4) in the school of fashion and that is why i'm here on the flexible learning course to hopefully fill some gaps in the void that should be my understanding of "modern technology" and flexible learning.
my other role in the school of fashion is as technican so i also would like to research/chat with other bloggers who know about the sustainable side of fabrics available in nz. and their footprint.
please feel free to add any comments
thanks
